Blaze® is a pour-on for the control of nuisance fly and for the control of biting and sucking lice in cattle.

Product Details

Blaze® is a pale yellow, water-based synthetic pyrethroid insecticide for control of biting and sucking lice (Bovicola bovis, Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus and Solenopotes capillatus) on cattle of any age. It also controls nuisance fly (Stomoxys calcitrans) for a period of up to four weeks.

Benefits

Blaze® contains the synthetic pyrethroid (SP) deltamethrin. Deltamethrin acts as a contact neurotoxin causing paralysis and subsequent death of susceptible ectoparasites. Synthetic pyrethroids are oviposition suppressants, and hence repel fly landings.

Provides control of biting and sucking lice as well as prevents irritation from nuisance fly for up to 4 weeks.

Administration method

Product must be applied with a T-bar gun. Apply in a wide continuous strip from between the ears to the tail, down the midline, to ensure even dispersion of product down both sides of the animal.
